Thank you for visiting the Africa Solidarity Council, Inc.'s new Web site!  It is awesome, is it not?  This is an exciting step as we work together with you to discover ourselves as Africans (we failed to do so while we were on the m-a-i-n-l-a-n-d) and begin to understand ourselves, to ask questions, to formulate answers, build friendship, make friends, and to become friends, one with another.  Then, we will return to the m-a-i-n-l-a-n-d, our homeland, together, for the task of rebuilding our Africa for the sake of our posterity.  While our site is open for you to explore and discover, please bear with us, it is also under construction.  And it must be! It must continue to be a work in progress because you are a very important part of its constant improvement.  But it must also continue to be work in progress as you and I continue to fine-tune our new found friendship, understand each other better, and thereby tolerate each other's idiosyncrasies, and accept one another as Africans for our continent's and posterity's sake.  If you find something that is not working quite right, don't blame the Webmaster, he is a fine African, very dedicated to the success of this site.  If you find it exciting, however, he deserves all the credit.  But if you must blame someone, I am a good target, and once you have finished, please suggest solution and do so kindly and gently.
