This conference may be more than a one-day event and will be filled with a series of exciting educational workshops and roundtables on African unity and a Soccer tournament.  Details will be forthcoming.  There are other performances - movie (Lumumba) for your entertainment, pleasure, and understanding of our past to appreciate where we are going and how we must get there, including the kinds of obstacles we surely face or may face.

REGISTRATION FORM

How to Register for the Conference

Everyone attending the conference must register using the registration form or the on-line form.  Please include all the requested information and you may submit registration by mail, fax or Internet.

You will receive a confirmation of your registration via Internet or by fax.  You may also register at site on the day of the conference but we encourage you to do an early registration to avoid any space problems.  The deadline for receipt of your registration is November 12, 2003.  All other registrations after this date will be processed at the site of the conference, space permitting

Registration Fees:

There are no registration fees to attend the conference proper and participate in all the workshops and panel discussion and have snacks and beverages. You are equally invited to our soccer tournaments free of charge. However, there is a registration fee of $25/40, which grants the registrant access to see the movie - LUMUMBA, attend the Solidarity banquet and the Solidarity Ballroom dance (live band and/or DJ). It is advisable to register in advance if you wish to attend these events.  Registration will be accepted on site, space permitting, and may cost more to defray the logistical matters involved.  The deadline for receipt of your registration and payment is November 12, 2003.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided to all conference participants free of charge.  Housing/hotel accommodation, travel, and incidental expenses are the responsibility of the conference participant.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Full refunds (less $5 processing fee per registrant) will be made on cancellation received by November 8, 2003.  No refunds will be granted after this date.  Cancellations must be sent in writing to:  The Africa Solidarity Council, Inc., Solidarity Conference Planning Committee, P.O. Box 77352, Washington, D.C.  20013 or faxed to 301-773-1663.  In order to receive a refund, written requests must be sent to the same address as above or faxed to the same number as above.  Refunds will be issued after the conference.  Registrations are not transferable.
